Estela Domínguez is a competitive cyclist from Spain, who died on February 10, 2023, during training.

Estela, 19, had collided with a moving truck on a highway in Salamanca, Spain.
The Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) described the late rider as “one of the most promising national riders.”
Also, reports from the RFEC, show that Estela came second in the junior category during the 2022 Spanish Women’s Cup. She also represented the Spanish National team in the Tour du Gévaudan Occitanie in the Nations Cup.

Estela became a part of the racing team Sopela, in early 2023.
“With immense pain, we have learned the news that Estela Domínguez has died this afternoon as victim of a crash while training”, the group said in a statement.
“We still can’t process the incredibly difficult loss of our cyclist. We are with the family in these terrible moments. Rest in peace”, the group added.
Estela is survived by family members. Her father, Juan Carlos Domínguez, holds a winning record of a stage of the Giro d’Italia.
