American musician and record producer, Nile Rodgers is an integral part of the development and relevance of music group, Duran Duran who was very popular in the 80s. Rodgers produced their entire album released in 1986 – Notorious. He was also the lead guitarist on that album.

According to sources, the group was going through quite a rough patch at some point in their career until Rodgers intervened with his music-creating skills. They even created the record producer for making their group a success again after their massive comeback.

“This band went through a difficult time and it might not have made it if it weren’t for this gentleman,” Duran Duran’s frontman Simon Le Bon said, making reference to Rodger’s massive contribution.
Rodgers is also credited for producing a remix of Duran Duran’s No. 1 song, “The Reflex” in 1984. He also co-wrote and produced one of Duran Duran’s songs dubbed “Pressure Off” along with Mark Robinson.
