Christopher John “Kit” Hesketh-Harvey (April 30, 1957 – February 1, 2023) was a British musician, translator, composer, and scriptwriter.

He married actress/academic Catherine Rabett in 1986, and the couple has two children, Augusta and Rollo.
Sarah Sands, the former editor of the London Evening Standard and the Today program on BBC Radio 4, is his sister. He was born in Norfolk and raised in Cornwall.
Hesketh-Harvey died abruptly on February 1, 2023, at the age of 65.
