What is Dan Carter doing now?

Daniel William Carter ONZM is a retired New Zealand rugby union player.

Carter commenced his domestic career with Canterbury in 2002. He then spent 12 seasons with the Crusaders, making his debut with them in 2003 and staying until the end of his Test career in 2015. He also had a brief spell with Perpignan between 2008 and 2009.

Carter played for French side Racing 92 from 2015 to 2018 and the Kobe Steelers in Japan from 2018 to 2020.

He then returned to New Zealand with the Auckland Blues in 2020.

Carter won three Super Rugby championships, two Top 14 titles, and the Japanese league during his club career.

Internationally, Carter played for New Zealand’s national team, the All Blacks between 2003 and 2015. He earned 112 caps for New Zealand and two Rugby World Cups (in both 2011 and 2015).

Dan Carter retired from professional rugby on February 20, 2021.

What is Dan Carter doing now?

Dan Carter is currently working as a Philanthropist and Ambassador.

He has served as Ambassador for UNICEF Aotearoa since 2021.

Dan supports charities and projects that drive change for the better in New Zealand and across the globe.

In 2022, Dan Carter launched The DC10 fund, in partnership with UNICEF, to help kids everywhere dream big and achieve their goals. The fund supports and advocates for UNICEF’s work to empower children and protect their rights – both in Aotearoa and around the world.
