Who Is Heath Davis?

Heath Davis is a former New Zealand cricketer known for playing five Tests and eleven One Day Internationals (ODIs) as far back as the 90s.

During his time, Davis played for Wellington, recording impressive Test figures with up to 14 no-balls in one innings.

For his speed and exceptional skill, Davis picked in 1994 for the New Zealand tour of England, and made four wife’s in his first ball in test cricket.

He also played in the first test where he bowled 21 overs and took 1 wicket for 93 runs.

In 1997, Davis appeared in both test matches during the Sri Lankan tour of New Zealand and took four wickets in the first test, and five wickets in the second test.

After bowling several no-balls in his career, Davis eventually retired, following back-to-back injuries and began cricket coaching.

As one of the fastest bowlers, Davis was named one of the “greatest 11 players NZ forgot”, by Otago Daily Times.
