Are Michael McKean & Bob Odenkirk Friends?

The core group actors including Michael McKean and Bob Odenkirk are best friends. Bob Odenkirk explained that he and his co-stard have become close while working together over the past five seasons.

The final episode of Better Call Saul aired on Monday, August 15, 2022, and during the show, Bob said he and the cast were among the fans who watched the series finale of the acclaimed “Breaking Bad” prequel.

McKean received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2019 for his performance as Chuck McGill on Better Call Saul.

McKean’s breakthrough role was annoying neighbour Lenny on Laverne & Shirley. He played David St. Hubbins, lead vocalist and co-lead guitarist of the fictional rock band Spinal Tap in This Is Spinal Tap and had roles in several Christopher Guest ensemble films.
