    My uncle Bill (Rip/ie. The Ripper)Collins played semi pro basketball on the same team with Alex. Alex fathered five children with Joan in Clinton Iowa. Alex owned a bowling alley in Clinton. My uncle said Alex was a wild man. He drove a Caddilac like he stole it. My uncle told me Alex didn’t have very good distance vision and if someone booed at him from the stands after missing a shot (basketball) Alex would look over in the general direction and yell back..F-you-sea-K ! It’s kinda wierd because it’s almost like no one in Clinton even knew Alex existed here. But..almost all the “old timers” have passed away by now. I would like to see him honored in some way here with at least a cheesy street sign. My words written today are recollections from what my uncle told me about Alex. My uncle passed away in 2013. Today is 30 June 2023. Blessings to the extended Karras family.
