For 16 years, he’s owned the Offerman Woodshop in Los Angeles, a small collective of woodworkers and makers.

Nick Offerman released a book about woodwork ” Good Clean Fun” The book offers readers an inside glimpse at the inner workings of his shop and even teaches some basic woodworking skills through step-by-step project instructions.

Nick Offerman began his career in Chicago during the early 90s with theatre roles for various high-profile theatre companies. These included Steppenwolf and Goodman.

His TV and film career truly began in the late 90s with movies like “Going All the Way,” and shows like “ER” and “The West Wing.”

During the early 2000s, he met figures like Amy Poehler and Megan Mullally. In 2001, he appeared in an episode of “Will & Grace,” and he followed up with roles in shows like “24,” “Gilmore Girls,” and “Monk.”

Since 2018, Offerman and Amy Poehler have co-hosted the NBC reality competition series Making It; he and Poehler have received two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program.
