TJ McConnell Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Indiana Pacers (NBA).

TJ McConnell signed a two-year, $7 million contract with the Indiana Pacers on July 3, 2019. He joined the team as it entered the 2020 NBA Bubble and left after a first-round loss to eventual Eastern Conference Champions Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.
TJ McConnell set the NBA record for most steals in a half on March 3, 2021, with nine. He also became the first player since Mookie Blaylock in 1998 to record a triple-double with points, steals, and assists, as well as the first to do so off the bench.
TJ McConnell was re-signed by the Pacers to a four-year, $35 million contract in August 2021.
