Moises Caicedo is a professional footballer who plays for Brighton in the English Premier League and also for the Ecuadorian national team. The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of Brighton’s key players since he joined the club in 2021.

Caicedo’s performances have caught the eye of several teams in the EPL and abroad including the two London giants, Arsenal and Chelsea. The gunners and the blues have emerged in a tough race to sign Caicedo from Brighton.

How much did Brighton pay for Moises Caicedo?
Brighton signed Caicedo in August 2021 from Independiente del Valle for a fee reported to be around £ 3.6 million. This is considered a massive bargain as his performances prove he’s a player worth no less than £ 50 million.

Per reports, Brighton has set an asking price of close to £ 100 million before any of the London clubs can sign the young man. The race to sign Caicedo is close and as it is now, he looks to be wearing more red and white than blue.
