Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli had trashed his Emmy Award because his wife said she wasn’t impressed with it.

“That night I won, my wife and I go to bed she says ‘You know you think you’re a really big deal with this Emmy,’ and then she goes ‘I am not impressed’ and she said ‘And if you had any balls you’d take that Emmy and throw it right in the garbage”, Imperioli narrated during an interview.
“The booze had been flowing, I took that Emmy threw it in the garbage. We both went to bed, wake up the next morning 11 o’clock, first thing she says ‘Can you order coffee? And don’t forget to take your Emmy out of the garbage”, he said.
Who Is Michael Imperioli?
Michael Imperioli is an actor, screenwriter, and singer, best known for appearing as Christopher Moltisanti in the HBO crime drama series The Sopranos.
Born on March 26, 1966, in Mount Vernon, New York, Imperioli Imperioli doubles as a screenwriter, and contributed to the screenplay for the 1999 film Summer of Sam, as well as writing five episodes of The Sopranos.

Beginning from the 90s, when he acted in Goodfellas, Imperioli has gone ahead to appear in films such as Jungle Fever (1991), Bad Boys (1995), The Basketball Diaries (1995), Shark Tale (2004), The Lovely Bones (2009), and the current HBO drama series The White Lotus.
Other movies he has appeared include “Malcolm X, The Basketball Diaries, Clockers, Dead Presidents, Girl 6, My Baby’s Daddy, Lean on Me, I Shot Andy Warhol, Last Man Standing, Shark Tale, High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story, and Summer of Sam.”
Imperioli has won many awards and nominations including the Primetime Emmy Awards, Golden Globes Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
