Designed by legendary course architect William P. Bell and completed by his son, William F. Bell, Torrey Pines opened in 1957.

The North and South courses are both 18-hole layouts that were designed by William F. Bell, and the South course is home to the annual Farmers Insurance Open, a PGA Tour event.

Torrey Pines South Course includes a 223-yard par 3, 515-yard par 4, and 612-yard par 5, and played to a par of 71.

More than 80,000 rounds annually are played on the North Course alone, while the South receives 60,000.

The Torrey Pines Course is known for its challenging layout, spectacular ocean views, and its use of natural terrain and vegetation.
