Yes, you walk on at Torrey Pines Golf Course. Anyone can walk up and play either the South or North Course on the same day without reservation.

Most of the golfers at Torrey Pines will be walking the course, however, you can also rent a cart.

The North and South courses are both 18-hole layouts that were designed by William F. Bell, and the South course is home to the annual Farmers Insurance Open, a PGA Tour event. More than 80,000 rounds annually are played on the North Course alone, while the South receives 60,000.
Torrey Pines Golf Course’s South Course was redesigned in 2001 by Rees Jones in preparation for the 2008 U.S. Open. It is now 7,698 yards with a par of 72.
Designed by legendary course architect William P. Bell and completed by his son, William F. Bell, Torrey Pines opened in 1957. It is considered one of the best public golf courses in the United States.
