Trixie Mattel owns the Trixie Motel. Trixie Mattel and her partner David Silver bought the motel in Palm Springs, California originally named the Coral Sands Inn for $1.9 million.

Trixie Mattel is an American drag queen, television personality, and singer-songwriter best known for her exaggerated, high-camp style and blend of comedy and acoustic pop.

Brian Michael Firkus, better known by the stage name Trixie Mattel was born on August 23, 1989, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States of America. Trixie Mattel is part Ojibwe and comes from a Native American family in Crivitz, Wisconsin.

Trixie Mattel studied at the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he received a BFA in musical theatre. He attended beauty school in 2014 before withdrawing to participate in RuPaul’s Drag Race.

In 2015, Trixie Mattel competed on the seventh season of the drag competition RuPaul’s Drag Race. In 2018, Trixie Mattel won the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

Trixie Mattel’s comedy special, Trixie Mattel: One Night Only (2020) was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award.
