Taryn has organized countless events to show people how to be comfortable in their own skin.
Taryn has now gained international relevance, not just as a speaker but as a bestselling author and director of documentaries promoting social-change.
Her engaging international events Embrace and Embrace Kids, has earned her recognition by “UN Women, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls and the Geena Davis Institute.”

Taryn clinched awards at the 2019 Australian of the Year awards, and the following year, the 100 Women of Influence awards in 2018.
Other awards she has won include the South Africa Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership, and the Entrepreneur of the Year, South Australia.
Taryn is happily married with four children.
Body Image Movement continues to spread the message of change from its Headquarters located in Adelaide, Australia; and it continues to boast of a growing community.
