American animated sitcom, Rick and Morty, which is produced by Adult Swim has fired its main voice actor and co-creator Justin Roiland. According to reports, he will no longer voice the two characters after being sued.

Why did Justin Roiland get fired? Why will Justin Roiland no longer be a part of Rick and Morty? Justin Roiland is currently awaiting trial after being accused of domestic violence. According to reports, Roiland was first charged with felony domestic charges on January 12, 2023 in Orange County, California. This was in connection with an incident that happened in January 2020 which involved a woman whose identity has been kept anonymously.

Senior Vice President of Adult Swim, Marie More announced that the company has cut ties with the popular voice actor.
“Adult Swim has ended its association with Justin Roiland,” she said.
The production network is yet to cast a new character for the show. It has currently been paused at season 6. As it stands now, Dan Harmon will be the sole creator of the show until at least season 10.
