Swarovski is not resale value and is overpriced. On the resale market, Swarovski crystals are not worth much because glass crystals are just not inherently valuable.

Swarovski crystals are bought by digital auction houses and antique dealers. Swarovski is based in Wattens, Austria, and has existed as a family-owned business since 1895 when it was founded by Daniel Swarovski. Swarovski is run by the fifth generation of family members.

In partnership with electronics giant Philips, Swarovski produced the “Active-Crystals” consumer electronics range in 2007. Swarovski also collaborated with the London Design Museum in 2012.
The Swarovski company is known for its high-quality crystal products, which are usually used in fashion, jewellery, glass sculptures, miniature, rhinestones, home decor and chandeliers.
The Swarovski company is split into three major industry areas. There is the Swarovski Crystal Business which produces crystal glass, jewellery and accessories; Swarovski Optik, which produces optical instruments and Tyrolit which manufactures and supplies grinding, sawing, drilling, and dressing tools.
