Danny Mac was born on February 26, 1988, in Bromley, United Kingdom. Mac was brought up in the seaside town of Bognor Regis.

Danny Mac trained for two years in Acting at Chichester College. He later attended The Arts Educational Schools in London graduating in 2009 with a BA Hons degree

.In 2020, Danny Mac played Edward in the London premiere of Pretty Woman: The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre. He also appeared in an episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors as Jonathan Bateson in 2020.

Danny Mac starred as Joe Gillis in the multi-award-winning touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard from September 2017 to April 2018. The role got him the ‘Best Actor’  award at The Manchester Theatre Awards.

Danny Mac appeared as Craig in the Sky One sitcom Trollied in 2018. From May 2019, Danny Mac toured the UK as Nino in the musical Amélie.
