Wink Martindale (DJ) Today: Is Wink Martindale still working?

American Dj and entertainment personality, Wink Martindale is still active in the industry, with a career spanning over six decades. He has been an active entertainment personality since 1951.

In June 2021, he began hosting ‘The History of Rock n Roll,’ a national and internationally syndicated two-hour weekend show that looks back at music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It is produced by a team composed of Wink Martindale himself, popular producer and engineer, Peter Jay Gould of The Intervale Group, and writer Gary Theroux who also wrote and produced the 1978 52-hour marathon version of ‘The History of Rock n Roll for Drake-Chenault. This new show seeks to combine songs, fun facts about the music and the artists, and the artists interview soundbites.

Back in January 2021, he also posted on his Facebook that he had one of the pilots for the ABC version of ‘Deal or No Deal’  and would upload it when his YouTube channel has 18,000 subscribers. On July 19, 2022, he hit the goal and uploaded the pilot on his channel.
