American former Astronaut, Buzz Aldrin is the only surviving Astronaut of the Apollo Lunar mission in 1969. He was part of the three members along with Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins. They left an Apollo 1 mission patch on the moon to commemorate the astronauts who died in 1967 during a test of the command module. Alan Bean, who was an Apollo 12 Astronaut, also left behind a golden olive branch to commemorate astronaut Clifton C Williams.

Buzz Aldrin is very much alive today (as of January 2023). He announced the marriage of himself and his longtime lover, Anca Faur on January 21, 2023.

“On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot. We were joined in holy matrimony in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles & are as excited as eloping teenagers,” he posted on social media.
