Derek Wolfe is a 32-year-old former American football defensive end and a current sports radio host. He was born on February 24, 1990, in Lisbon, Ohio.

Derek Wolfe attended college in Cincinnati. From 2008 to 2011, he was a member of the Cincinnati Reds. Wolfe recorded three tackles and a sack for a loss of nine yards in his first NFL regular-season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He attended the University of Cincinnati and was drafted 36th overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Derek Wolfe spent his first eight years with the Broncos before signing with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020.
On July 29, 2022, Wolfe announced his retirement from professional football, signing a one-day contract with the Denver Broncos to retire as a member of the team.
