A report by The Guardian in March 2021 revealed that David Crosby sold the recorded music and publishing rights to his entire music catalog to Irving Azoff’s Iconic Artists Group.

The amount involved in the transaction is not known. This is because the financial details of the deal was not made public.
David Crosby was one of the most influential rock singers of the 1960s and ’70s with the Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

Crosby died at age 81 on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, according to a statement from his wife.

In addition to his solo career, he was a founding member of both the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Crosby appeared on the Byrds’ first five albums and produced the original lineup’s 1973 reunion album. He subsequently formed Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1968 with Stephen Stills and Graham Nash.
Crosby released six solo albums, five of which charted.
Additionally, he formed a jazz-influenced trio with his son James Raymond and guitarist Jeff Pevar in CPR.
At time of death, Crosby’s work with the Byrds and CSNY had sold over 35 million albums.
