Does Edward Cullen have sperm?

Since Edward Cullen is a vampire and does not possess sperm because he is not a living thing.

It is not biologically possible for him to produce sperm. However, in the series, Edward got Bella pregnant through a rare circumstance which has not been explained in the story.
