Joe Trohman is best known for his work as the lead guitarist and backup vocalist for the American rock band Fall Out Boy.

Fall Out Boy began in 2001 as a side project for Trohman and Pete Wentz from the hardcore punk scene in which they were involved, and the band has four number-one albums on the US Billboard 200, as well as numerous platinum and multi-platinum singles in the US and abroad.

After a three-year hiatus, Fall Out Boy announced their return in February 2013 with a new album, tour, and single.

The band has since released three full-length albums, two EPs, a remix album, and a greatest-hits compilation.

Joe Trohman created an animated series called Mondo Trasho 3042 on YouTube in 2020. The ten-part series is about a fictional band in the year 3042. “We’re Mondo Trasho,” the show’s intro says. We’re a group. We should split up.” None of This Rocks, Trohman’s memoir, was published on September 13, 2022.
