Jim Schwartz is an American football coach who currently works as a Senior Defensive Assistant for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL).

However, The Cleveland Browns plan to hire Schwartz as their new defensive coordinator according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero who reported the news on Tuesday, January 17 2023.
Jim Schwartz is set to replace Joe Woods, who was fired last week January 2023 after the Browns finished 7-10 and missed the playoffs for the second consecutive season, ranking 19th in defensive efficiency.

Jim Schwartz was the Detroit Lions head coach from 2009 to 2013, going 29-51 but leading the Lions to the playoffs in 2011. In 2018, he won a Super Bowl as the defensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles.
