Dan Stevens is a writer and actor from the United Kingdom. He first gained international attention for his portrayal of Matthew Crawley in the acclaimed period drama Downton Abbey on ITV (2010–2012).

Since Downton Abbey, Dan Stevens has appeared in a slew of popular shows and movies and has emerged as the show’s most well-known star, alongside Lily James.
Stevens has appeared in films such as Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and Beauty and the Beast since leaving Downton Abbey.
Dan Stevens has narrated over 30 audiobooks, including Casino Royale, Wolf Hall, and War Horse.

Stevens is an editor-at-large for The Junket, an online quarterly he co-founded with some friends in 2011. He served on the Man Booker Prize judging panel in 2012 and was a Sunday Telegraph columnist.
More recently, Stevens has been focusing on producing and writing. He’s been involved in producing several short films and TV pilots.
He also wrote and starred in the 2020 film “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga”. He continues to be active in the entertainment industry, and his fans look forward to his next projects.
