Susie Hariet is a South African jazz singer who is married to Dan Stevens a writer and actor from the United Kingdom.

The couple first met in 2006 while performing at various London theatres. “I was getting my kit off at the Crucible every night doing The Romans in Britain, and she was in a musical,” Stevens told The Telegraph in 2011. “We met and clicked right away.”

The couple married in 2009, while Hariet was six months pregnant with their first child, a daughter named Willow.

“I’m fortunate to be married to someone who completely understands what I do,” the actor told the paper. “She is completely sympathetic to the actor’s situation. Her mother was an actress, so she grew up around it.”

According to The Telegraph, she is a “jazz vocalist-turned-singing teacher.” She has also dabbled in acting. According to IMDB, her most recent film project was 2010’s Forget Me Not.
