Irina Shayk Cristiano Ronaldo: Why did Ronaldo and Irina separate?

Irina Shayk and Ronaldo reportedly called it quits when Shayk refused to attend a surprise birthday party for Ronaldo’s mother in Portugal.

Irina Shayk and Ronaldo were also engaged after Ronaldo proposed to Irina on Valentine’s Day in 2011. However, they split up in January 2015 after dating for five years.

Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova, known professionally as Irina Shayk hails from Yemanzhelinsk, Russia. Shayk was on the cover of Ocean Drive and GQ South Africa for the August issue and was ranked first in Complex magazine’s “50 Hottest Russian Women” list.

In 2011, Irina Shayk was featured on the covers of magazines such as Tatler Russia, Twelv, Cosmopolitan Spain, GQ Mexico, Glamour Spain, Amica Italy and Elle Spain’s Christmas edition.

Irina Shayk also covered S Moda Spain and The Sunday Times Style and did an editorial for Vanity Fair Italy. She also modelled for Morellato, Agua Bendita, and Blanco.

In 2014, Irina Shayk carried the flag for the Russian team during the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
