Benjamin Keough Cause of Death

Benjamin Keough was the only son of Lisa Marie Presley. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound during his girlfriend’s birthday party at his mother’s Calabasas home on July 12.

An autopsy report confirmed that the cause of death was a shotgun wound and the manner of death has been ruled suicide. He was also tested for alcohol and cocaine at the time of his death.

Also according to the reports, Ben had a “history of depression and was known to abuse alcohol and use illicit drugs, cocaine”.

Ben had been to rehab three times and only completed the program once. He allegedly did not seek medical attention for his mental health.

Like his grandfather, Benjamin’s body was placed in an open casket at the remembrance.
