Eizember was executed for killing an elderly couple 20 years ago.
“I’m at peace…My conscience is clear, completely. I love my children”, Eizember had said before he died.
Eizember’s death was witnessed by his spiritual adviser, Rev. Jeffrey Hood, his daughter, and other attorneys.
“After living this nightmare, I must say that 20 years is too long for justice to be served,” Johnny Melton, the nephew of the late couple said in a statement.
“We want to get it right and we absolutely want to ensure that everyone’s rights are protected, but the process is much too slow”, he added.

Eizember had murdered A.J. Cantrell, 76, and his wife, Patsy Cantrell, 70, on October 18, 2003, after breaking into their home in Depew, Oklahoma, and shot them with a shotgun.
Afterwards, Eizember had gone to the home of his girlfriend, Kathryn Smith. He attacked her and her son, and escaped in a stolen vehicle.
Since 2021, his execution will be the eighth in Oklahoma, a state which currently has 42 on death row.
