Kyle Shimwell Cause Of Death

A Bakewell Town footballer, Kyle Shimwell has died. The footballer was killed after a car he travelled in left the road and crashed into a shop.

Emergency services got to the scene at about 00:30 GMT and took him to the hospital. He died two days later.

The driver, a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She was also detained on suspicion of driving over the limit for alcohol and later bailed pending further inquiries.

The Derbyshire Police have asked that anyone with any information about the accident report it to them.
