Lynette Hardaway was a Donald Trump loyalist best known as Diamond of the political duo Diamond and Silk.

The duo comprised of Lynette ‘Diamond’ and her sister Rochelle ‘Silk’ Richardson.

The sisters rose to prominence as Diamond and Silk among conservative circles during the 2016 election after posting a series of social media offerings in support of former president Donald Trump.

Sadly, Lynnette Hardaway Diamond passed away on Monday. Jan 9. 2023. She was 51 years.

Her death was confirmed on Diamond and Silk’s official Facebook page on Monday night in a post which read:

‘The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity!

‘Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her passion and love for the entire race of humanity.’

Former POTUS Donald Trump also confirmed Lynnette Hardaway Diamond’s passing on social media in a post which reads:

‘Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans.’

‘Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina.’

‘Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time!

‘Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!’

Though an immediate cause of death was not communicated, Lynnette Hardaway Diamond was hospitalized in November 2022 from complications from COVID-19.
