Josh Reginald Hazlewood was born in Tamworth, Australia. Josh Hazlewoods grew up in the small country town of Bendemeer, New South Wales, located 40 km north of Tamworth.

Josh Hazlewood is a tall pace bowler known for his accuracy. He currently ranks no.2 in ODI, no.1 in T20I and no.12 in test in the ICC Men’s Player Rankings.

In addition to playing for Australia’s national team, Josh Hazlewood has also played for Australia’s Under-19 team and was the youngest member of the squad at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup.
Josh Hazlewood took his 200th Test wicket against India in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in 2020-21.
Josh Hazlewood was bought by the Chennai Super Kings in the 2020 IPL auction. Hazlewood has also played in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) for Australia.
Josh Hazlewood was chosen to play for New South Wales at the age of 17, making him the youngest fast bowler to represent the state.
