Former Arkansas Razorbacks Peyton Hillis is in the ICU, following a swimming accident that occurred at a beach in Florida.

Hillis had tried to rescue his children from drowning at the beach. After a successful attempt, he went into coma.
Hillis was whisked away from the beach area in an unconscious state. Doctors’ report shows that his kidney and lungs have been affected.
Who Is Peyton Hillis?
Peyton Hillis is a retired football running back who played for the Denver Broncos, Arkansas and a few other teams in the National Football League (NFL).
Born on January 21, 1986, in Conway, Arkansas, Hills played high school football at Conway High School, and college football at the University of Arkansas.

In 2008, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos as 227th overall pick in the seventh round of the NFL Draft.
After two seasons with the Broncos, Hillis went ahead to play for the Cleveland Browns, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the New York Giants.
Hillis joined the New York Giants in 2013, and the following year received a two-year contract extension worth $1.8 million.
In 2015, Hillis retired from the game on health grounds.
His NFL statistics as at retirement was a record of 2,832 rushing yards, 4.1 rushing average, 23 rushing touchdowns, 134 receptions, 1,050 receiving yards, and 3 receiving touchdowns.
