On April 4, 1957, El Chapo was born in a small town called La Tuna Badiraguato, Sinaloa, Mexico. Emilio Guzmán Bustillos and Mara Consuelo Loera Pérez are his parents.
In 1977, El Chapo wed Alejandrina Mara Salazar Hernández, who would become his first wife. Three children, César, Iván Archivaldo, and Jess Alfredo, were born to them as a blessing.
