Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is still in serious condition after having a cardiac arrest during Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to the team’s latest update on Tuesday.

The Bills say Hamlin spent the night in the intensive care unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after collapsing on the field at 8:55 p.m. ET. He is still in critical condition at the hospital.
Messages of support poured in on social media almost instantly. As of early Tuesday morning,
Hamlin’s GoFundMe page for a toy drive for needy children had received over 122,000 donations totaling nearly $3.1 million, exceeding its $2,500 goal.

Damar Hamlin Injury Update: Tributes Pour In As Fans Gather Outside Hospital
Following the tackle, the Bengals, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, and Pittsburgh Steelers sent their thoughts and prayers to Hamlin.

The NFL’s commissioner, Roger Goodell, issued the following statement: “Hamlin was treated on the spot by the club and independent medical personnel, as well as local paramedics.
He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.”
“Our hearts go out to Damar and the Buffalo Bills. More information will be provided as it becomes available “stated the NFL.
“Everyone in our community, including the NFLPA, is praying for Damar Hamlin,” the NFL Players Association said in a statement.
“We’ve spoken with Bills and Bengals players, as well as the NFL. The only thing that matters right now is Damar’s health and safety.”
Fans not to be left out, also took the initiative to gather outside the hospital where Damar is currently to show their support.
