He was released by the team and briefly signed with his hometown team, the Dallas Cowboys, before being released during the 2014 final roster cuts.

After leaving the NFL, he launched “The Observant Lineman,” a YouTube channel where he and other former players would analyse recent football games. His most recent show, in which he dissected a Philadelphia Eagles play, was uploaded two weeks ago.
