Kane Brown got lost on his own 30-acre property for seven hours. Kane Brown decided to call a fellow musician and friend Ryan Upchurch, who lives nearby. They had to call the cops to be rescued.

In September 2020, Kane Brown performed “Be Like That” live from Nashville on stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival using a PORTL “hologram” machine. The song was a collaboration with Swae Lee and Khalid, who were in a studio in Los Angeles, California at the time.

Kane Brown was included in 2021’s Time 100, Time’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Kane Brown opened for Florida Georgia Line on their summer 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour.
In January 2016, Kane Brown signed a contract with Sony Music Nashville and began recording under the RCA Nashville label. He released his first EP with the label, called Chapter 1, on March 18, 2016.
