Stewart Albert Newblatt was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Newblatt was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on May 17, 1979, to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, to a new seat created by 92 Stat.1629.
He was confirmed by the United States Senate on September 25, 1979, and received his commission on September 26, 1979. He assumed senior state on December 23, 1993.
He was a judge of the 7th Judicial Circuit of Michigan from 1962 to 1970. He was in private practice in flint from 1970 to 1979.
