Chris Klieman is a former player and American football coach. Chris Klieman and his wife Rhonda Klieman have three children together named Colby Klieman, Haley Klieman, and Devin Klieman.

Chris Klieman’s son Devin was a student manager with the NDSU equipment staff during his father’s final three seasons.
Chris Klieman is the current head coach of Kansas State University in the Big 12 Conference.
He took over for the retiring Bill Snyder after leading North Dakota State University to the 2018 Division I FCS championship, his fourth national championship in five seasons at NDSU.

Chris Klieman was a member of seven FCS national championship teams during his eight years as the Bison’s defensive backs coach after joining the Bison in 2011.
Following an unprecedented five consecutive national championships from 2011 to 2015, the Bison recovered from a semifinal loss in 2016 to win back-to-back national championships in 2017 and 2018.
The 2018 Bison finished 15-0, becoming only the fifth unbeaten FCS national championship team in history.
Chris Klieman was named the Bruce Craddock MVFC Coach of the Year in 2017 after being a four-time finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award, which is given annually to the FCS national coach of the year.
