What disease did Keenan Cahill have?

Keenan Cahill had Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome, which caused him to develop an appearance similar to that of people with dwarfism (he was 127 cm (4′ 2″), including dura thickening, shortened trunk, crouched stance, restricted joint movement, and enlarged hands.

Cahill, who was diagnosed at the age of one, received a bone marrow transplant in 1997 to slow the progression of the disease, as well as multiple surgeries, including one to relieve intracranial pressure.

Keenan Cahill passed away on December 29, 2022, after undergoing open-heart surgery on December 15.

Keenan Cahill rose to prominence in the early 2010s as a result of his viral videos in which he lip-synced to popular songs.

On August 28, 2010, Cahill posted his first lipsynced YouTube video, Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. Jennifer Aniston, 50 Cent, Flo Rida, Katy Perry, Tinie Tempah, Maroon 5, Cody Simpson, Jason Derulo, Big Time Rush, Glee, WWE wrestler The Miz, and Pauly D have all appeared as guests on his channel. He also had several singles available on iTunes.
