Andreas Kronthaler: Meet Vivienne Westwood’s Second Husband

Andreas Kronthaler is the second husband of Vivienne Westwood. He is an Australian creative director and design partner. He is the widower of Vivienne Westwood.

Andreas studied Industrial Design at the Vienna School of Applied Arts and switched to fashion design.

In 1989, he moved to London to work for Vivienne’s firm, Their first joint collection was the Spring-Summer 1991 collection: Cut and Slash. In the collection, Andreas presented Renaissance-inspired gowns, later named the Sun Wheel Dress.

Andres and Vivienne got married in 1992. They continued to develop collections together.
