Pele Cause of Death

Brazil Football legend, Pele has died at the age of 82. He died on December 29, 2022.

Widely regarded as one of soccer’s greatest players, Pele spent nearly two decades enchanting fans and dazzling opponents as the game’s most prolific scorer with Brazillian club, Santos and the Brazil national team.

In September 2021, Pele had surgery to remove a tumour on the right side of his colon. Although his eldest daughter, Kely stated he was “doing well”.

On December 2022, the hospital where Pele was being treated stated that his tumour had advanced and he required “greater care related to renal and cardiac dysfunctions”.
