Do Beyoncé and Solange like each other?

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and her sister Solange Knowles like each other and have always been each others’ best friends despite being five years apart.

In the past, Solange and her sister Beyoncé modelled for their family’s clothing line, House of Deréon, and Solange helped launch a junior apparel collection called Deréon.

In September 2012, Solange released “Losing You” as the lead single from the EP True, and was featured on the cover of The Fader magazine.

In addition to her solo work, Solange has also been a featured performer on the soundtrack to the 2002 film Austin Powers in Goldmember and a backup singer on Destiny’s Child’s 2001 holiday album 8 Days of Christmas.

Solange appeared in Play’s video for “M.A.S.T.E.R. (Part II)” featuring Lil’ Fizz. In 2002, Solange voiced the character Chanel in an episode of the animated series The Proud Family.

In 2013, Solange founded the digital platform Saint Heron as a music and cultural hub to promote Black artistry.
