John Bird Cause of Death

Actor and comedian, John Bird has died. He died at the age of 86 on December 24, 2022. This was confirmed by his representatives.

The cause of his death is unknown.

Bird worked with John Fortune and Rory Bremmer in Bremner, Bird and Fortune, which was nominated for BAFTA TV awards.

In the series of sketches with John Fortune, known as The Long Johns, one of the two men interviewed the other in the guise of a senior figure such as a politician, businessman or government consultant, invariably called George Parr.

John Bird lived with pianist and teacher, Libby Crandon from 1978, and the two later married. Bird was a resident of Newdigate, Surrey.
