Roma learned to cook at a very young age and quickly developed a love for traditional Bengali cuisine. She spent hours perfecting her recipes, using simple and delicious ingredients to create dishes that were full of flavor and depth.
In 1970, after she moved to England with her husband, she continued to cook and share her love of food with others.
Despite the move to England, Roma’s love of food and her Bengali roots has not dwindled.
She recently published a cookbook called “Roma’s Recipes,” which features a selection of her favorite dishes. Those recipes truly celebrate traditional Bengali cuisine, from onion bhajis and salmon curry to dal and samosas.
In addition to sharing her recipes with the world, Roma is also using her cookbook to give back.
She revealed that all profits from “Roma’s Recipes” sales are to be donated to Rennie Grove Hospice Care and The Kindness Factory, two organizations that do important work in the community.
