Former baseball pitcher, Dennis Eckersley now lives in his hometown in the Bay Area of Oakland, California, United States. After an impressive career, he decided to settle down in his hometown with his wife.

“Having grandkids in the Bay Area and visiting them in the offseason, that pushed me along. I just knew, you need to go and be with the kids. Those formative years you need to be there.” Dennis Eckersley said.

“I played for the A’s, I went into the Hall of Fame as an Oakland A. That is my hometown, but this is my home. And I’m a Boston Red Sox.” he added.

That marked his 11th start of the season and just the 65th of his 3rd year in Major League Baseball. He helped lead his team t a 1-0 victory.
