Dennis Priestley is a former darts player, who was a world championship winner and the first to win both the BDO and WDC (now PDC) world championships.
Born on July 16, 1950, in Mexborough, United Kingdom, Priestley earned the nickname “The Menace”, which he portrays by wearing red and black.

In 1991, Priestley won the Embassy World Championship, and in 1992, he won the Winmau World Masters.
Priestley co-founded the World Darts Council (WDC) in 1993, and went on to win the inaugural WDC World Darts Championship in 1994.
Priestley recorded multiple wins in his career including the Skol Matchplay, UK Matchplay, Antwerp Open, Samson Darts Classic, the PDC World Championships, and many more.
For four years in a row, Priestley maintained the record as the only player to win over three grand slams/major titles.
Priestley is regarded as one of the “best darts player in the world”.
