Umaga was an American professional wrestler who was known in real life as Edward Smith Fatu. Umaga was a two-time WWE Intercontinental Championship and a one-time MCW Southern Tag Team Championship.

Umaga is one of the members of the notable American Samoan wrestling family called the Anoa’i family and he was trained by a Samoan-American professional wrestling manager and retired professional wrestler and professional wrestling manager called Afa Anoa’i.

At the time of the death of Umaga, he was 36 years of age.
Umaga was born to Solofa Fatu and Vera Fatu in American Samoa on March 28, 1973, and died in Houston, Texas, on December 4, 2009, at the age of 36 years as a result of a heart attack that resulted from the use of abuse of some harmful drugs.
Umaga is survived by his lovely wife called L.T. Fatu and their four lovely children.
