Speaking in an interview with OK!, Laura opened up about her relationship with Gary Lucy and admitted she used to watch her partner when he starred in the drama Footballers’ Wives in the early 2000s.

She said: “My mum fancies him! And my friends are obsessed. One of them messaged me the other day and she’s like, ‘Can you believe we used to watch Footballers’ Wives and you’re now dating Gary Lucy, how does that feel?’
“And I’m like, ‘up!’ I don’t think about it like that. But then I was looking at him on a date and I was like, ‘It’s weird that I know your face.
Laura added: “He makes me feel comfortable and he makes me feel quite adored and protected, which is really nice. He’s a gentleman.”
